Jeffrey Plitt is not new to the car business. It's been part of his life for generations.His family's history in the automotive world dates back to 1923, when his grandfather managed Glidden Buick in New York City. In 1955, his father brought the family to Eastern Long Island and purchased a Ford dealership in East Hampton. The deal was sealed with a handshake and two fingers of whiskey, and that kind of straightforward, old-school way of doing business is something Jeff still believes in today.

Jeff got his own start in 1968, when his father put him in the prep department polishing used cars. From there, he worked his way through every part of the dealership, from service to sales, building the kind of real-world experience you cannot fake.He later went on to run Plitt Ford Lincoln Mercury in Wainscott, growing it from its original East Hampton location into a larger facility that served the community for decades. Being part of a family-run dealership taught him something that still defines how he works today. Treat people right, be honest, and earn their business for the long term.

 After a brief time at another Ford store, Jeff joined Otis Ford in 2015. Since then, he has brought that same approach with him. No games, no pressure, just a focus on helping people make the right decision. Customers who work with Jeff always come back.
